We had a very nice time staying here for two nights.We had a twin room on the ground floor.I'm disabled so I was glad I didn't have to go upstairs. The room is very nice. Also there is somewhere to leave my mobility scooter and charge the battery. We will definitely stay there again when in Skegness. The landlord and landlady were very nice and helpful. Only problem was the shower, it took a while to turn it on, and I couldn't turn it off. So I got my friend to turn it off. It would have been ok ,if there was some instructions,how to turn it on and off. scooter,at night,and charge battery
We booked this hotel in an impromptu visit with the 2 young boys. the standard of service was absolutely first class. The room was lovely as was the rest of the hotel. The owner (Mick) was very polite & welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was very clean and well decorated. The bedding was fresh/clean and to a very high standard. As e had booked in advance and explained we had two young boys with us our room had drinks especially for them - that was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and a great nights sleep was had by all. Breakfast was brill.. freshly cooked and a wide selection of cereal if you didn't want cooked. We've been regular visitors to both Skegness & Ingoldmells over the past 10 years, we've stayed at many different B&B's & hotels but the Thornwell Villa has been our favourite - and trust me we are very picky! It's also close to the beach, amusements & entertainment. We shall be putting this hotel as our first port of call in the future - I'd definitely recommend/suggest you do the same - you will not regret it. Lovely quiet guesthouse, great location in Skegness close to all amenities. Tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast there's a real attention to detail here. Michael and Yvonne wonderful hosts.
We started here last evening with a lovely warm greeting , our room was basic but. clean and comfortable facilities were good a the breakfast was full hearty and tasteful , to send us on our way , very good value for money and would certainly stay again .
What an incredible weekend! The hosts were sooo welcoming and managed to accommodate a lovely family gathering. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful nights sleep and an all round lovely stay.
Just returned from a break over the jubilee Bank Holiday. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived , parking was right outside the property, Mick was very friendly and helpful when checking us in. The room was spotless, fresh hospitality tray every day. The breakfast was beautiful. I work in catering and have to say nothing was scrimped on and nothing was too much trouble. Again dining room spotless and a very good variety of cereals and a choice of breads the cooked breakfast was gorgeous. The property was a 2 minute walk to the pier in a lovely quiet street. A hidden gem which we will definitely be revisitng.
Just got back home to Mansfield after a one night stay in this lovely little B&B. Situated in a very nice part of Skegness, a very quiet area. Mick and Yvonne were the perfect hosts, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will we stay again ?. You bet your life we will, and it wont be too long before we do either. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
